What conditions has this treatment helped? Our approach it to assist individuals in improving the healing process itself rather than to attempt to resolve a specific condition. Consequently, virtually any condition could theoretically respond well. We have used this treatment approach with hundreds of patients over the course of many years. During that time, our patients have reported relief or resolution of:
- Back pain with or without pain down the leg (sciatica)
- Neck pain or neck stiffness with or without pain down the arm
- Headaches
- Migraines
- Vertigo
- Dizziness
- Poor balance
- Parkinson’s disease
- Anxiety
- Panic attacks
- Depression
- Digestive system / gut problems
- Neurological problems
- Heart / cardiovascular problems
- Low or poor energy level / poor endurance / poor stamina
- Difficulty sleeping
- Poor self-confidence
- Lack of motivation
- Lack of life-purpose
- Lack of mental clarity or “brain fog”
Can this treatment help my chronic problem? Some patients have reported improvement or resolution even of conditions they have experienced for years, decades, and even for their entire life.
Is the treatment the same for everyone with the same condition? An energetic imbalance can be expressed in our lives in any number of ways through the physical, emotional, and mental bodies. While the energetic imbalance persists, symptoms usually persist. When the energetic imbalance is balanced, the corresponding symptoms usually improve or completely resolve. Even when people experience similar symptoms, the patterns of energetic resistance or imbalance within them will be unique. Consequently, the path toward resolution and balance will be different for each person despite experiencing similar symptoms or conditions in their lives.
How long does it take for the therapy to start working, and how many sessions will I need? As soon as we begin the work, energy begins to reorganize and redistribute throughout the body. Some people report obvious changes during their first session, while others may not observe any obvious changes for a couple of months. Many report a gradual improvement in their condition over a period of several weeks with no abrupt change from week to week. In fact, the changes are so gradual for some that they forget about their original symptom or condition until specifically asked about it. We usually recommend 8 to 10 sessions to determine how effectively the work is addressing your specific symptoms or condition.
Are the changes permanent? Often the changes reported during the course of treatment are permanent. Sometimes symptoms recur over the course of months or years and further treatment is requested.
Will my insurance cover the treatment? As long as the treatment falls within the scope of practice of Physical Therapy and can be defended as medically necessary, we have not had any difficulty with insurance covering this treatment. The only issues we have experienced that have limited insurance coverage have related to coverage limitations within the specific plan chosen by the plan beneficiary, such as choosing plans that will not cover out-of-network providers, plans with limitations for number of sessions per year, plans that require pre-authorization, etc.
